Ford Hill Cottage in Kentisbury, North Devon, is a beautiful three bedroom holiday home comfortably accommodating up to six. Sympathetically refurbished, the 350 year old cottage has a wonderful mix of period charm and contemporary elegance.
Ideally located for exploring the North Devon coastline, Exmoor and the surrounding towns and villages, Ford Hill is a great central base for families or friends.
The cottage has been tastefully decorated throughout with neutral walls enhanced by vibrant tones of red on the ground floor to help to create a sense of warmth and cosiness, while pale shades of blue and green produce a clean and calm environment in the bedrooms.
A steep set of stairs leads to the first floor of the cottage where there are three very good-sized bedrooms, including two doubles, one with an en-suite shower room, and a pretty twin. There is also a spacious family bathroom and a sun room with direct access to the rear terrace.
Beyond the rear terrace, Ford Hill has a large, beautiful garden with a fantastic old beech tree providing plenty of shade for sunny afternoons. The garrage has also recently been refurbished into a spacious, well-equipped games room; featuring a pool table, table football and a surround sound TV, which can be enjoyed from the comfort of the sofa and bean bags.
"Quite simply the best holiday cottage we've stayed in. The attention and thought that has gone into making our stay comfortable was astounding."
Ford Hill Cottage is situated just a few miles from the seaside village of Combe Martin, which has its own pretty beach, good range of shops and a selection of pubs and restaurants.
