Kitchen

The open plan kitchen at Ford Hill has recently been completely refurbished. This stunning, well-equipped kitchen is beautifully light with wood floors and neutral colours wonderfully complimenting the character of the cottage.

Fitted within the kitchen is a Rangemaster cooker, a coffee machine, a fridge/freezer, a washing machine and a dishwasher. There is also a good selection of pots, pans, cutlery and crockery. Separating the kitchen from the living area is a useful island where you will find a draining sink and further cupboards.

Located beside the kitchen is a steep staircase leading to the first floor bedrooms and the rear terrace, where alfresco dinners can be enjoyed. A smaller terrace is situated to the front of the cottage and can be accessed via the kitchen or the main entrance, this is a great place to take advantage of the early morning sunshine. There is also a handy porch, which is a great place to store muddy boots along with any umbrellas.

Dining Room

Like the rest of the ground floor, the dining room at Ford Hill is beautifully decorated and finished to a very high standard. The warming tones of red felt throughout the downstairs continue in the dining room, making it a wonderful place to enjoy meals with friends or family.

At the heart of the dining room is a modern oak table, which can comfortably seat up to eight. There is also a traditional wood dresser storing the cottage's cutlery and crockery, and finally a comfy armchair, ideal for a little peace and quiet.

Master En-suite

The master bedroom has a wonderfully luxurious and modern feel with soft furnishings giving it a stylish finish. Central to the bedroom is a double bed with feature headboard. A large built-in wardrobe and chest of drawers are available for storage.

Situated at the rear of the house, the bedroom is able to take advantage of direct access on to the terrace, ideally positioned for warm summer evenings.

Ford Hill's master bedroom benefits from its own en-suite shower room. The cosy bathroom is equipped with a large shower with a sliding door, a loo and a wash-hand basin. There is also a handy, wall-mounted heated towel rail.

Twin Bedroom

The pretty twin bedroom at Ford Hill is beautifully bright, and, like the other rooms located on the first floor, has a calming colour palette made up of subtle tones of blue and green. Matching oak furniture in the bedroom includes two full size single beds, a large chest of drawers with mirror and a free standing wardrobe.

Double Bedroom

A lovely mix of old and new combines in the Ford Hill double bedroom. The delicate shades of blue and green wonderfully complements the bedroom's brightness, whilst the few exposed wood beams give the room a sense of tradition and character.

Central to the bedroom is a lovely wood framed double bed that matches the free-standing wardrobe and tall chest of drawers.

Family Bathroom

Situated between the double and twin bedroom is the family bathroom. The large and spacious bathroom is bright and airy, with whitewashed walls accompanying the cream wood panelling and stylish tiles that are topped with dainty colourful striped tiles.

The family bathroom features a bath with hand-held shower attachment, a wash-hand basin and a loo.

Terrace & Garden

Situated off the first floor sun room is the lovely fully enclosed garden terrace that takes full advantage of the setting sun. The terrace is surrounded by a pretty wood fence and flower borders. A small gate gives direct access to the garden.

A contemporary round wood table seats up to six and a BBQ is provided for sunny summer evenings spent outside in the garden.

Ford Hill has a large garden with a wonderful beech tree set to one side to provide shade on a summer afternoon. The garden is mainly laid to lawn and enjoys far reaching views of the local countryside and across to the two Hangman hills at Combe Martin.
